What Is JSON-LD?
JSON-LD (JavaScript Object Notation for Linked Data) is Google's recommended format for implementing structured data. Unlike Microdata or RDFa, which require inline annotation of HTML elements, JSON-LD is added as a separate script block in the page's head or body. This makes it easier to implement, maintain, and debug. For dealerships, JSON-LD is used to implement Vehicle schema on VDPs, LocalBusiness schema on location pages, FAQPage schema on FAQ sections, Service schema on service department pages, and BreadcrumbList schema for navigation. Modern content platforms like Hrizn generate JSON-LD automatically, ensuring accuracy and completeness without manual coding.
