CTR (Click-Through Rate)
The percentage of people who click on a link after seeing it - calculated as clicks divided by impressions, used to measure both ad and organic search performance.

What Is CTR (Click-Through Rate)?
Click-Through Rate (CTR) measures how effectively your search listings or ads convert impressions into visits. In organic search, average CTR varies dramatically by position: position 1 gets ~28% CTR, position 2 gets ~15%, and position 10 gets ~2.5%. For dealerships, improving CTR on existing rankings is often easier and faster than improving rankings themselves. CTR optimization includes: writing compelling title tags that include the city name and value proposition, crafting meta descriptions that create urgency, implementing schema markup for rich snippets (which can increase CTR 20-30%), and A/B testing different approaches. In Google Search Console, CTR data reveals which pages have high impressions but low clicks - wasted visibility.
